JACK LEAMING WINS LIONS AWARD
Jack Leaming, long time member of the Salina Lions Club is the recent recipient of the prestigious D. A. Skeen Fellow Award from the Utah Lions Foundation. The award is not given every year, but only at times when a particular Lion member is considered worthy. Jack has been a member of the Salina Lions for more than 38 years. Jack has been active in community affairs and has served two terms as a city councilman. As a Lion, Jack has served in every capacity from president to secretary and treasurer. Jack recently had his 91st birthday and has the energy and drive of a much younger man. Jack is well deserving of this important award and Salina and the Salina Lions should be justifiably proud of Jack and his accomplishments.
